Hiking through the nature

An extensive network of footpaths provides access to the “Nördlicher Teutoburger Wald und Wiehengebirge” nature park. Some 500 km of remote footpaths lead over the mountain ridges. The paths Wittekindsweg, Hermannsweg, Pickerweg, Töddenweg, Friesenweg and Ems-Hase-Hunte-Else-Weg are especially popular. Those looking for shorter routes will find some 1,800 km of circular footpaths that start off from 195 car parks for hikers.

Informations and maps are available at the reception.
