Arrival and departure
Your room will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 12:00 PM. If you would like to depart later, please inform the reception (411) in advance. We charge 20 € per hour for a late check-out until 4:00 PM. From 4:00 PM, we charge the full overnight rate for the room.

Allergic person
We prepare allergy-friendly bed linen and inserts on request.
Please inform the reception about this or notify them in advance.

Arrangements
Our arrangement brochure informs you about affordable and attractive short vacations. You can find a copy here, at the reception, or at www.melle.vandervalk.de/arrangements.

Doctor/Emergency room
If you need the help of a doctor, please call the reception (411/412).

On request
We have ready for you electric heaters, fans, additional pillows, iron and ironing board, stamps, baby cot, extra beds, various shop items and board games.

Elevator
To the right of the reception are two elevators that lead to the hotel rooms and event halls. We request not to use them in case of fire.

Room amenities
Comfort room (32m²) equipped with flat-screen TV, desk, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe and refrigerator, as well as a coffee and tea station, a seating area and a balcony or terrace. The bathroom features a bathtub, separate shower, and a hairdryer.
Junior suites (54m²) have the same basic equipment as the Comfort rooms, the bed is a king-size bed. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The junior suites feature a flat-screen TV, a coffee/tea station, and a separate balcony.

At your request, we will provide you with the following baby equipment:

The in-room tablet can also be used as a baby monitor and transmits sound and image.

Bathrobe / Sandals
You can rent a bathrobe at the reception for a cleaning fee of €5. Sauna sandals are available for free at the reception or in the wellness area.

Are available to you free of charge upon request. Please inform the reception.

The ROOTS Bar is open daily from 07:00.

Disability-friendly facilities
A wheelchair-accessible WC is located on the ground floor opposite the reception. Two handicapped parking spaces are available directly in front of the main entrance. Our hotel also offers a disabled-friendly room. You can reach the sauna and fitness area, the restaurant, the halls, and all rooms by elevator.

Billiards
On the 1st floor, you can play billiards. The cues and chalk are located right next to the table. The white ball is on the billiard table or at the reception. A game costs € 0.50.

Flowers
Flowers can be ordered for you from the reception. Tel. 411 or 412.

Fire alarm
In case of a fire alarm, you will be informed by the fire alarm system. The assembly points are located in front of the main entrance in the parking lot and at the staff entrance. Please follow the instructions of the staff.

Brunch
Our Sunday brunch costs €30.50, with the breakfast price credited. We offer this every Sunday and on certain public holidays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Business corner
You need a PC and printing options? Feel free to speak to the staff at the reception. They will take care of this for you.

Postage stamps
Can be purchased at the reception.

Ironing service
You can drop off your clothing items for ironing at the reception for a fee. We provide you with an ironing board and an iron.

Fire
Please note the following instructions in case of fire:

• Do not use the elevator under any circumstances. Leave the hotel through the emergency exits marked in green. The emergency escape plan for your room is hanging next to the room door.

• Follow the instructions of the staff, police, and fire department

Breakfast
You can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet from Monday to Friday from 6:30-10:30 am, on Saturdays from 7:00-10:30 am, and on Sundays from 7:00-10:00 am. Upon request, we will serve breakfast in your room. Please submit the order form at the reception by 5:00 am. Your breakfast will be served within 15 minutes of the specified time. We charge a surcharge of € 11.00 per order. Please find the order form in this folder or ask for it at the reception.

We are happy to prepare children's and baby beds for you. High chairs are available in the restaurant. A changing table can be found in the children's restroom on the ground floor. In the entrance area of the restaurant, you will find a playroom with children's TV and games. For our little guests, there is a special children's menu with drawing paper and a small surprise. The playground is located outside next to the terrace. Please ensure the safety of your children.

Luggage rack
If the space on the room luggage rack is insufficient, you can obtain an additional luggage rack at the reception.

You are welcome to drop off your mail at the reception. Collection takes place daily, except on Sundays. Stationery, envelopes, and stamps can be purchased at the reception. Additionally, postcards and greeting cards are available.

Due to the non-smoking protection law, smoking is prohibited in the public areas of the hotel.

Cleaning
If you would like to have your laundry cleaned, please hand in the laundry bag and the completed laundry list at the reception. You will find both in the wardrobe. As a rule, you will get your laundry back cleaned within 24 hours. Dry cleaning only upon request. If you wish to have daily linen changes during longer stays, please contact the reception.

Our restaurant "ROOTS" offers you regional and international dishes. The kitchen is open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Until 6:00 PM, we have a lunch menu, followed by the à la carte menu.

The room service menu can be found here in the folder. You can place your order through the reception between 12:00-22:00. We charge an additional fee of €11.00 per order.

The hotel features 11 multifunctional halls for conferences and celebrations for 2 to 450 people. We would be happy to provide you with information about our offerings in person. We will exchange smaller amounts of cash for you at the reception. An ATM is not available in the hotel. We do not provide cash advances on credit cards. We accept the following credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. We do not accept checks and do not exchange foreign currency.

Wellness and fitness area
Our wellness and fitness area is located on the 2nd floor in the middle of the guest room section. It is available to you from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Relax in the panoramic sauna, Turkish steam bath, whirlpool, or the comfortable relaxation area. Towels and sauna sandals are available free of charge. Please turn on the sauna 15 minutes before your planned visit or inform the reception. The sauna automatically turns off after 25 minutes. You can borrow a bathrobe at the reception. A fee of €5.00 is charged for cleaning. Various cardio and strength equipment, a water dispenser, and a television are available in the gym. Please note that the hotel assumes no liability for self-inflicted injuries.
Our beauty and massage salon is also located on the first floor, in the middle of the room wing. Allow yourself to be pampered, for example, with a relaxing full-body massage or a manicure. You are welcome to reserve an appointment at the reception.
